These terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) govern the use of lucentmedicalaesthetics.ca. This site is opened and operated by Lucent Medical Aesthetics. By using this site you indicate you have read and understand these Terms of Conditions and agree to abide by them at all times.

The minimum age to use our Site is 18 years old. By using this site users agree that they are over 18. We do not assume any legal responsibility for false statements about age.

The information on Lucent Medical Aesthetics is not intended as a substitute for or to be used in lieu of professional medical advice. You agree to purchase services from our Site at your own discretion. Lucent Medical Aesthetics frequently updates the Sites contents however with rapid changes in medical information some information may be out of date. 

 

Payments

We accept the following payment methods on our Site:

When you provide us with your payment information, you authorize our use of and access to the payment instrument you have chosen to use. By providing us with your payment information, you authorize us to charge the amount due to this payment instrument.

If we believe your payment has violated any law or those Terms and Conditions, we reserve the right to cancel or reverse your transaction.

 

We reserve the right to modify, reject, or cancel your appointments whenever it becomes necessary. If we cancel your appointment you have already processed your payment for the deposit we will give you a refund equal to the amount you paid. You agree that it is your responsibility to monitor your payment instrument to verify receipt of any refund.

Refunds

We do not accept returns or refunds on used purchased products, services or packages. If the product you purchased is damaged, it may be exchanged within 14 days of purchase. You may also exchange products within 14 days of purchase if unused and unopened in the original packaging. Please contact us if you have any further questions.

 

In order to cancel your appointment you MUST call or email a minimum of 48 hours in advance. Any missed, late canceled, or changed appointments without 48 hours notice will result in the loss of your deposit and an additional deposit will be required for your next treatment.

 

Privacy Policy 

The lucent medical aesthetics website does not collect any personally identifiable information regarding the users of its website unless such information is voluntarily provided by the user. We will not disclose your individual identity or personally identifiable information without your prior consent except as required by law, court order or as requested by other government or law enforcement authority.

 

Consumer Protection Law

Where the Consumer Protection Act, or any other consumer protection legislation in your jurisdiction applies and cannot be excluded, these Terms and Conditions will not limit your legal rights and remedies under that legislation. These Terms and Conditions will be read subject to the mandatory provisions of that legislation. If there is a conflict between these Terms and Conditions and that legislation, the mandatory provisions of the legislation will apply. 

 

Limitations of Liability 

Lucent Medical Aesthetics and our directors, officers, agents, employees, subsidiaries, and affiliates will not be liable for any actions, claims, losses, damages, liabilities and expenses including the legal fees from your use of the site.

 

Indemnity 

Except where prohibited by law, using this Site you indemnify and hold harmless Lucent Medical Aesthetics and our directors, officers, agents, employees, subsidiaries, and affiliates from any actions, claims, losses, damages, liabilities and expenses including legal fees arising from of your use of the Content or any other portion or aspect of the website  or your violation of these Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario. This website is intended solely for the use of persons within Canada, its territories and provinces. Individuals accessing and utilizing this website outside of Canada do so at their own risk and are responsible for compliance with any and all laws. Any dispute between you and Lucent Medical Aesthetics.ca with respect to these Terms and Conditions, the website or any of the website content will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in the province of Ontario and these Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the province of Ontario regardless of choice of law principles. If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid by any court having competent jurisdiction, the invalidity of such provision shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of these Terms and Conditions, which shall remain in full force and effect.

Severability 

If at any time any of the provisions set forth in these Terms and Conditions are found to be inconsistent or invalid under applicable laws, those provisions will be deemed void and will be removed from these Terms and Conditions. All other provisions will not be affected by the removal and the rest of these Terms and Conditions will still be considered valid.
